PA Stoneware Pitcher
Two gallon stoneware pitcher with excellent form and blue
decoration all the way around and on the terminal points of the
handle. Great overall condition except for restoration to a small
chip on the base and an unobtrusive small glaze drip on lower
right front just above the base . Height - 11".

Hart Stoneware Crock
Rare S. Hart Fulton (New York) five gallon stoneware crock
with excellent blue decoration of blue birds and a whimsical
steer's head. I have seen many Hart crocks with double birds
but I have never seen one with a steer's head. The piece could
have been made for a farmer who raised cattle. Professional restoration
to a five inch hairline on the back of the crock. Height - 12".

Medinger Redware Vase
Redware vase made by Jacob Medinger (1856-1932) of Neiffer,
Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA. The Medinger pottery
was founded by Jacob's father William in 1872 and remained functional
until Jacob's kiln related accidental death in 1932. Excellent
condition. Height - 13".

New Geneva PA Tanware Pitcher
Beautiful slip decorated New Geneva, PA tanware milk pitcher.
There are no condition issues with this wonderful example other
than two 1/4" minor rough areas on the left side of the
rim. The brown slip decoration is wonderful with four fuscias,
trailing vines and folky stripes on the handle. This is the only
New Geneva tanware piece I have ever seen with four fuscias in

Stahl Pottery in Powder Valley, PA. It is signed on the bottom

Mochaware Pitcher
Medium size mochaware pitcher with pleasing colors of coffee,
sage green and brown. The piece is of English origin and dates
to the early 19th century. There is one small 1/4 " chip
on the handle and as expected very minor roughness on the rim

Stahl Redware Cat
Redware cat with excellent polychrome glaze made by the Stahl
Pottery in Powder valley, PA. This is the only Stahl animal figure
I have ever seen with this variation of color in the glaze. It
is signed on the bottom "Made by R.R. Stahl 11/20/51"

Stahl Redware Sgraffito Plate
Rare sgraffito leaping stag plate made by Isaac Stahl of the
Stahl Pottery in Powder Valley, PA. The plate is bordered with
a PA German script along with trailing vines. It is dated July
20, 1936 which is only two years after Isaac and Thomas Stahl
reopened the pottery started by their father Charles Stahl in
the late 19th century. This piece is in excellent original condition
and would be a great addition to any Stahl Pottery collection.

Mocha Sand Sugar Bowl
Very good early nineteenth century English mocha sand sugar
bowl with blue slip rings on the footed base, the shoulder and
the lid's finial. Excellent form and condition. Minor repair

Yellow Ware Mocha Sand Creamer
Circa 1830 miniature English yellow ware creamer or pitcher
with a sand finish on the body and an emerald green slip band
on the shoulder terminating at the spout. Reeded applied handle
and engine turned beading on the rim. The piece is in perfect
condition except for a very small 1/32" rough spot on the

Two gallon cake crock made by Daniel P. Shenfelder of Reading,
PA with the signature Shenfelder drooping bell flower and vine
cobalt decoration. The maker's stamp and two gallon stamp are
