Painted Jam Cupboard
Pennsylvania jam cupboard in original oxblood red painted surface. The cupboard is made of pine with poplar secondary wood. The case is dovetailed with two dovetailed drawers over two doors and a nicely shaped backsplash. The wooden drawer knobs and the hinges are also original to the piece. Height - 49" to top of the backspash, Width - 42", Depth 19".

Lancaster County Pennsylvania miniature walnut blanket chest with original mustard paint decorated surface. The case is dovetailed and the turned feet are original. Miniature Walnut Blanket Chest
Mid to late nineteenth century miniature or child's size walnut blanket chest exhibiting fine dovetailing, applied moldings and square nail construction. This nicely proportioned chest retains it's original till, turned feet and hardware to include hinges, lock, keeper and escutcheon. The surface was refinished approximately forty years ago. Philadelphia Windsor Chair
Unmarked Philadelphia bowback Windsor armchair with the best
early red painted surface over the original dark green. This
chair exhibits excellent form as evidenced by the shaped seat
and bold reverse curves on the arms and arm supports. Circa 1785-1800.
The crest rail is either hickory or oak; the spindles, arm supports,
legs and stretchers are maple; and the seat is poplar. Expected
wear to legs. Reference The Windsor Style in America by
Charles Santore, Vol I, page 124 and Vol II, pages 120 and 121
for similar examples.

Adirondack Twig Stand
Late 19th century twig stand with a heart and horseshoe on
the base section. Original untouched surface with remnants of

Berks County Federal Walnut Tall Chest
Circa 1800 Berks County, PA tall chest with old refinish and
truly outstanding form. The piece exhibits a dovetailed case,
a flat cove molded cornice, chamfered quarter columns, graduated
overlapping drawers with thumbnail molding and 9 1/2" tall
french feet. The figured walnut on the three over five drawer
fronts demands your attention. Poplar secondary wood. Replaced
brasses.

Rupp Paint Decorated Chest
Pine chest of drawers attributed to John Rupp of Hanover,
PA. Vibrant original black and reddish-brown faux birdseye maple
paint decoration with Rupp's signature white porcelain drawer
pulls. I have seen many faux mahogany decorated pieces by Rupp
but this is only the second faux birdseye maple piece I have
ever seen. The painted surface is in excellent condition showing
only very minor as expected wear. Circa 1880. Height - 49",
Width - 41", Depth - 22".

PA Cherry Slantfront Desk
Pennsylvania Federal cherry slantfront desk with a dovetailed
case, four graduated drawers, a fitted interior and French feet.
Drawers have line inlay around the perimeter in the form of a
cartouche. The cartouche inlay is repeated on the desk lid along
with a two-handled urn. Circa 1810. Refinished with replaced
brasses. Height - 42", Width - 43", Depth - 21".

graduated over-lapping drawers and ogee bracket feet. Dovetailed
case with good figuring on the drawer fronts. Replaced brasses

NE Paint Decorated Shelf
Mid-nineteenth century New England pine hanging shelf with
brown and black paint decoration. The paint appears to date to
around the turn of the century. Square nail construction with
wonderful scalloped sides and plate grooves on each shelf. This
piece is an excellent size for the display of smalls. Height
- 36", Width - 25". The shelf's are 8, 7 and 6"
in depth.
